31 Weeks-Dr. Appointment
Went to see Dr. Kennedy this morning and everything is good. I gained 5 lbs in 3 weeks and 4cm across my tummy, in her words "I popped!" I looked back at my blog for Ella and between 30 and 32 weeks was a large growth spurt also. Max continues to be extremely active and I still feel great. I told her that a friend scanned me and that he was head down and she said that typically he will stay that way since I am this far along, but we shall see! I go back in 2 weeks...until then....Merry Christmas to everyone. Hope all of you have a wonderful Christmas! Casey and I are enjoying spending time with Ella so much these days and we look forward to opening gifts with her Christmas morning.

30 Weeks Update
I am 30 weeks today and feeling great! I see Dr. Kennedy next Wednesday for my next appointment and then start seeing her every 2 weeks until I hit 36 weeks, then every week. Since I have posted last we went to Breckenridge and had a great trip, Ella had a wonderful 2nd Birthday and she also took her 2 year pictures, see below for those pictures.

A friend of mine scanned me last week and I am happy to announce that Max is head down, yeah! So hopefully he won't flip and I will maybe be able to have a VBAC instead of a C-section this time. Below is a picture that was taken today and a picture that was taken when I was 30 weeks pregnant for Ella (oh I miss my long hair!). Max continues to be VERY active in my stomach and overall we are both doing great! Until next time....

26 Week Update
Sorry everyone, I am 2 weeks late on writing on here. Oh, the past month and a half has been crazy to say the least.... First and foremost, I have gained 8 lbs so far in my pregnancy (4 in the last month) and Max is measuring right on track. I had my glucose scan this week and I don't have gestational diabetes, yeah!Casey, Ella and I have moved into our new house (1 week today) and we are loving it more and more each and every day. Below is a picture of Ella on one of our trips to JCPenney, she is such a silly girl! She has a big girl bed and loves her new room.

On another note, 2 weeks ago on Wednesday she and I were at Barnes and Noble and she tripped on the carpet and fell onto one of the storytime benches. A trip to LGMC ER and 6 stitches later, her forehead right above her right eye is finally on the mend. Talk about a scary experience that Casey and I hope to never have to go through again!
We took Ella to Sesame Street Live this past Sunday and she absolutley loved it! We sat 3rd row in the middle and she stood on our laps and danced the ENTIRE time. After each song, she said "next" as if to make sure it wasn't over. Also, everyday since Sunday she lets us know that she wants to go back.
Our next appointment is Monday, November 21st. I will be 27.5 weeks and I will be starting my 3rd Trimester, wow, already! We leave the next day to go to Breckenridge for the week with the Hebert's, a trip we are all looking forward to. Until next time!

20 wk Ultrasound
Well last week was my big ultrasound and everything went very well. Max is healthy and doing great, he is measuring for a due date of February 19th and his heart rate was 164bpm. He is in a breech position right now but still has plenty time to turn. I gained another lb last month and my next appointment is in 1 month. After that one, I start coming every 2 weeks, yeah!Today was supposed to be Max's big day but Ms. Ella had a little action of her own. We got a call from the daycare roughly 10 minutes after we dropped her off that she had fallen and hit her head on the TV cabinet. In true Ella form, it didn't even phase her but we brought her to the ER just to make sure she didn't need stitches. It ended up that she didn't need them and she left with about 4 stickers and got bandaids for her mommy and her daddy along with one of her own. This is us in the waiting room of the ER...
Oh and last week I asked her what she wanted to be for Halloween and she would like to be Snuffy from Sesame Street, great, can't wait to dress my precious daughter up as a Wooly Mammoth!

Meet Max Dale Touchette-15 weeks
Last Friday we found out that Ella is going to have a Baby Brother, we are all very excited. Tomorrow I will be 16 weeks and I had a Dr.'s visit today. I gained 2 lbs in the last month and I am measuring right on track for 16 weeks, Max's heart rate was 159bpm. I go back in a month for my big ultrasound when they check out all Max's major organs. Can't wait to find out that he is a healthy little boy!

On another note, Mrs. Ella has 6 teeth coming out right now. She is a trooper though, you would not be able to tell by her happy demeanor. As many of you know, I have been going to a class for the last 3 weekends in Baton Rouge, well this weekend will be the last and I know Ella, Casey and I will all be elated Sunday afternoon when it's over. I have to say though, her daddy has been taking very good care of her. The picture below is from last Saturday morning, which was the second Saturday morning in a row they went to Meche's for donut holes. Meche's was packed inside so they took the donuts to the back seat of the Yukon and watched Barney while eating donuts. According to Ella, "the good life!"

Ella - 1 Year 8 Months
Let's see, where do I start...Miss Ella is keeping us busy and in stitches. She continues to make us laugh each and every day and brings so much joy into our lives. We have seen her interact with babies within the past few weeks and both Casey and I are excited to be giving her a playmate in a few months.
I bought a toilet seat for Ella that fits onto our toilet and she has been doing very well, I attached a picture of her updated Potty Training Chart (when she gets to an Elmo she gets a prize). Aside from that, we are working on saying our ABC's and numbers 1-10. Her toenails have to be painted at ALL times and she loves to take off her polish (she thinks the Listerine bottle is the nail polish remover) and paint Mommy/Daddy's toenails. She loves to dance and is into Elmo and Barney! I have included a few videos...

Telling Casey
I think that Casey already explained the story in a previous post about how he found out but I figured that I would post the actual video. To help set the scene, I had just come home from working out and hurried up and took a pregnancy test. Immediately I got a positive result and threw the pregnancy test in with the rest of Casey's Father's Day gifts. See for yourselves how excited he was about the test and his skittles.....

12 Weeks- Dr. Appointment/Ultrasound
I would have normally been 11 weeks and 4 days today but based on my ultrasound, she advanced my due date to February 16, 2012, which means that I am 12 weeks pregnant today, yeah, 2 weeks left of first trimester! Casey and I got to see our little baby this morning, he/she was very active and moving all over. We weren't expecting this much detail but we even got to see his/her precious little hands and feet that we will be loving on for many years to come. The baby is measuring 5.34cm, which equates to 2.1 inches and the fetal heart rate was 168bpm. We included a photo and a video of the ultrasound below, enjoy!

First Appointment
Today was my first appointment and Ella, Casey and I all went. Dr. Lim (Ella's doctor) always orders a blood test for all her patients at 18 months and I knew I was going to need one too so we just went all together.
Dr. Kennedy was happy to see us back, especially to see Ella! She confirmed the due date as of now as February 19th, 2012 (Annie's Birthday) and we heard the heartbeat (166bpm). Ella even got on the ultrasound table and layed down just like mommy so she could have an ultrasound too!
Dr. Kennedy also gave me a prescription for the nausea and this morning (nausea free), I could kiss her....
See below for the first picture of Baby #2! Our next appointment is August 4th!

Finding Out...
It was the Thursday night before Father’s Day weekend and we were getting ready to go to Galveston for the weekend with my mom, Cody, and Nicole. Rachael and Ella came up to me and said that they would like to give me my father’s day gift a little early, so I sat down on the sofa and Ella started helping me unwrap the bag of gifts. The first gift was a bag of skittles and being the pleasing husband that I am I decided to show my gratitude to Rachael by eating a handful and skittles. Ella continued to unwrap the bag of gifts and pulled out a children’s recordable book for Ella and I to read. As Ella opened the book Rachael and Ella’s recoded voices started reading the story! Then Rachael tells me that there is one more gift in the bag, so I reach down in the bag and pull out the pregnancy test that showed that she was pregnant. With a mouth full of skittles I started smiling and laughing and we began hugging. She then goes on to tell me that she has been recording the entire thing and there I am still eating the original handful of skittles 5 minutes later.
Since we found out that we are having another baby I have been trying to get my mind right this time around, last time I was certain that we were having a boy so all I thought about leading up to the day that we found out was that we were going to have a boy. I kept thinking about how I was going to teach him how to throw and catch and how to fight and beat up on smaller kids and steal their lunch money! Ha-Ha Just joking, but this time I was kind of on the fence as to what we might be having, but after hearing that the heart rate was high again, I am really thinking that this baby is going to be another GIRL! As long as our baby is healthy I could really care less what sex the baby is, having three wonderful women in the house wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world. I am very excited and will continue to be very excited whether we have a boy or another girl, because I am getting a wonderful addition to our family and that is all that matters!
